Speed trap of the worst kind. Got pulled over on the highway by the sheriff for going EIGHT miles over the speed limit. He wrote me a ticket for 175 dollars.
UPDATE: these guys want MORE of your $$$ if you want deferred adjudication. With the "service fee" of 26 dollars, this whole ticket cost $326 dollars for going 8 miles over the limit.
When you start raiding the highway like bandits and writing citizens tickets for 8 miles an hour over the speed limit then safety is NOT your number one concern anymore, it's taking our money.
